Woop Sided Hair

This morning when I was fixing my hair I was having trouble with this one area on the underneath layer on the back of my head. It always wants to lay differently than the rest of my hair. I usual don't worry about. It is no big deal. Its underneath and no one will be able to tell. But I got the mirror out and started looking and realized that the underneath not laying right makes the whole back of my head look woop sided.

I think that a lot of times our lives are that way. We all have scars, pains, and hang ups. Yet we hide them away from each other. We pretend that it is all hidden underneath, and no one can see it. Reality is that we may think we are hiding the dark areas of our life, but we aren't. As a child did you ever tried to hold a blown up beach ball under water? You may have put all the weight of your body on the ball trying to hold it down, but the ball pops up in another direction. That is the same way in our lives. What we hide we show in different ways.
As Christians and friends we should feel that it is ok to spill our guts and not be judged.

There are so many examples in the New Testament that instructs us to be there for one another.
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that  you   may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up

My prayer is that each of you has someone in your life that will encourage you. Someone that knows all your secrets and loves you anyway. Always know that God is that someone. He loves you. He made you. He thinks your beautiful and wonderful in every way.

Thank you - you always say the most encouraging things! I have learned to be healthier with my emotions and unload before it gets out of hand. I love that I can share with God exactly what is going on and He just gets me. Happy Sat sweetie!
