Have you ever felt that pennies were so insignificant that they could be thrown away? I just saw someone throw a handful of pennies into the garbage can. I mean I understand walking over them lying on the ground, but throwing them away? Really? I know that in the small scheme of things pennies are pretty much worthless. When you look at the big picture a penny can do a lot.
When I saw a form of money being thrown away I realized just how much we take things for granted. We have so much and so many have nothing. I thought of children all around the world and even in our own back yards that have nothing.
Pennies may not mean much to you but to someone they could mean supper, medication, and life. There are so many things that we could do with the pennies that have found their way into wasteland.
Would you let your pennies make a difference or become waste?

That's crazy that someone threw some pennies away - what were they thinking? I have a penny jar where I keep all of my spare change and then I bring it into Albertson's to get cash or give it away to the Salvation Army. :)
